Glass Flake Coating Systems 400/500 Series
Spray Glass Glass Flake Coating Systems are high-performance protective coatings developed to provide long-term corrosion resistance for steel structures operating in aggressive marine, offshore, and industrial environments. Available in both spray and trowel grade systems, these coatings can be applied by spray, brush, or roller depending on project requirements and site conditions.
Designed to withstand seawater exposure, chemical attack, and harsh atmospheric conditions, the 400 and 500 Series systems deliver a durable low-permeability barrier with excellent adhesion and proven long-term performance. With coating thicknesses typically reaching up to 1.25mm, these systems are widely used across process industries, marine infrastructure, storage vessels, and industrial steelwork.
600 Series Laminate System (Heavy Duty GRP Lining)
The Spray Glass 600 Series is a heavy-duty GRP laminate lining system engineered for demanding chemical containment applications on both steel and concrete substrates. Constructed using a filled base coat, two layers of 450gsm chopped strand mat reinforcement, surface tissue, and a waxed resin topcoat, the system forms a seamless and highly durable chemical resistant barrier.
Offering excellent adhesion, impact resistance, and crack bridging properties, the 600 Series is ideal for process vessels, storage tanks, bunds, digesters, and aggressive industrial environments where long-term protection is essential. With a finished thickness typically between 3mm and 3.5mm, the system provides outstanding structural integrity and resistance to chemical permeation.
Concrete Protection System 700 Series
The Spray Glass 700 Series is a robust concrete protection and flooring system specifically designed for areas exposed to heavy traffic, abrasion, and aggressive chemical environments. Applied by trowel and reinforced with woven glass matting, the system incorporates silica filled base and top coats to create a highly durable protective surface capable of withstanding forklift traffic, tanker loading operations, and continuous industrial use.
Commonly specified for bunds, chemical loading bays, process floors, and containment areas, the 700 Series combines excellent impact resistance with reliable chemical protection. The finished system typically achieves a thickness of 3mm to 4mm, delivering long-term performance in demanding operational environments.
SJ Series Laminate System (Medium Duty)
The Spray Glass SJ Series is a versatile medium-duty laminate lining system developed for corrosion protection within potable water, seawater, and general industrial applications. Built using a reinforced single layer glass mat system with a smooth resin-rich finish, the SJ Series provides a seamless protective lining suitable for both steel and concrete substrates.
The system offers excellent resistance to corrosion, moisture ingress, and environmental exposure while maintaining strong adhesion and reliable long-term performance. Frequently used for water tanks, sprinkler systems, bund linings, and atmospheric corrosion protection, the SJ Series typically achieves a finished thickness between 2.5mm and 3mm.
